Cookies and browser storage

Spell to Win uses browser storage for requested game and sign-in features. It does not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Game progress
Local storage under word-race:v1:guest holds guest games. Player-specific word-race:v1:* records hold account progress and pending synchronization. These saves have no automatic expiry. Signing out or changing accounts clears local account records; guest records can be removed by clearing site data.
Word verdicts
word-race:word-verdicts:v1 caches accepted and rejected word checks by language and checking-policy version for 30 days, with a maximum of 1,000 entries. It reduces repeated network requests and contains no account identifier.
Authentication
The authentication service uses session cookies and temporary proof-key values to keep you signed in and securely complete sign-in redirects. Session expiry and refresh follow the authentication service configuration. Google may also use its own cookies on its sign-in pages.
Your controls
You can sign out and clear cookies and site data in your browser. Blocking necessary storage may prevent persistent games or sign-in; the game uses memory where possible and warns if saving is unavailable. Clearing browser storage does not delete cloud records.
